What motivates you to workout?

Here are my tips:

  • I have the coffee brewed when my alarm goes off so I instantly smell it and am motivated to go grab a cup and wake up. I always keep a glass of water next to my bed so I can drink the before my feet touch the floor.

  • I have an accountability partner or group so I can rely on them for extra motivation!

  • I have a PLAN. A plan that is longer than a week or a few weeks. If I have a plan, I’ll stick to it.

  • Set GOALS. And no, I don’t mean weight loss goals. Stay off the scale. Set qualitative goals such as fitting into a pair of jeans better, etc.

  • After 8 or so weeks, reevaluate your goals and set new ones. Change up your workout regimen.

  • Join classes or fitness memberships! It’s way more fun to do this with others!

  • LIFT! Seriously. Just lift. You’ll get 100x more bang for your buck.

  • Get your playlist ready the night before along with your clothes.
